Where to stay in Palmetto Dunes???

My wife and I are taking a trip to HHI in April and are looking to stay in Palmetto Dunes. We would prefer to be close to the ocean. Does anyone have any opinions on locations that would be the best to stay at? I realize each unit is different, but just any overall opinions of locations would be great. Thanks!

Where to stay in Palmetto Dunes???

We just stayed in a condo in Villamare, which is on the oceanside. Our unit looked out onto the beach and was very nice. We were right next to The Hilton and it looked nice as well.

My husband and I always stay at the Hilton. We have had several great experiences. The rooms have kitchenettes (a mini frige and microwave, sink, etc.). It is similar to a resort style set up. two pools, one is adult only. right on the beach. we have had a garden view and an ocean view, both are nice.

The best views are at Captain%26#39;s Walk.

This complex which is situated between the Villa Mare and the Hilton consists of three 5 story buildings. Each unit has full oceanfront views, the only condo in PD where this is true.

Villa Mare has some units which view the Marriott Hotel and others which view the parking lots.

At Captains walk you can also go across the street and fish or canoe in the lagoons at Captain%26#39;s Cove which is part of the same complex.

OK I think I am giving you more HHI advise!

WE have stayed in many places in PD...our favorite.

The Windsor Place are just awsome we used to stay in the same unit (510) for about 5 years on the 5 th floor. The view of the ocaen is great. With any of the units really check which way they face if you want to see the ocean becasue they all don%26#39;t look directly into the ocean.

WE now stay at Morrings or home that is owned by the people we rent from. Not ocean front view....but we can take Buckeye..our dog.

We rent form owners and have had great luck!
