Weather in March

We are trying to convince my father that March will be a nice time to visit Hilton Head - he is afraid that it will be too cold. Does anyone have some words of encouragement that I could pass on to him? Thanks!

Weather in March

The average high during march is 67 degrees, and the the average nightime low is 46 degrees. It%26#39;s still a little cool, but you can play tennis and golf any day, it%26#39;s not raining. We don%26#39;t get much preceip in april unlike the north.

Many of the vacation villas have heated pools so it%26#39;s possible to go swimming.

The Ocean water temperature averages 59 degrees, so you shouldn%26#39;t go bathing yet. all our restaurants and attractions are up and running.

Weather in March

We go every March....always the 2nd week. We are booked for 3/9-3/16. Our grandchildren love it. For Hilton Head I would never say ';too cold.'; Check weather.com before leaving home and then dress accordingly. My husband keeps a golf jacket handy and I pack a couple sweatshirts or a light jacket for me....that %26#39;s as cold as it gets. If you are there the same week as we are check out Hilton Head%26#39;s ';Wine Fest'; on March 10, 2007.

We are booked at the Lyons, Port Royal from March 10-17,2007. There are 10 of us, kids included. What is the ';winefest'; and how long does it run? Anything else to do then? We have two teenagers and we are a little concerned there might not be much to do for them. Our kids are on March Break at that time. What are the best dolphin cruises to take? By kayak?

Wow you will think it is warm in HHI form WI!

Light jacket in the mornings...it is so sunny! We were just there a few weeks ago and will return on St Pats day!

if you walk on the beach you will need warm up pants in the morning and some times in the after noon...just depends . But golf is great!

Last year is was really warm during our March visit! in the upper 70%26#39;s!

Usually it is in the 60%26#39;s
