is 7 days too much in Charleston?

We are planning a week stay in late April at the King George IV BB in Charleston. Reviews on the BB seem great and there appears to be much to do and see in Charleston, but is there enough for 7 days or do we need to spend time in Savanna or other places also?

Thanks

Lyle

I don%26#39;t think so. Seven days means that you won%26#39;t have to rush to get everything in.

You can spend one entire day at Magnolia Plantation and Middleton Gardens. They are close together, and in April, the gardens should be wonderful. Another day for Fort Sumter and the Aquarium. The Aquarium is not one of the gigantic ones, but it is interesting and has a nice seating area for just sittin%26#39; and watchin%26#39; fish swim.

If you run out of things to do.......take a ride over to Beaufort (and they call it ...BEW- fort). It%26#39;s an old town. Take one of the horse drawn tours if you can.

There is more than enough to do in Charleston. Make sure you bring comfortable walking shoes. You will want to walk most places because parking is difficult and you can see so much more. Also, bring both cool and warm clothing. The weather is comfortable most of the time, however it can be unpredictable.

Have a GREAT time.

No amount of time in Charleston would be too much for me! LOL.

Don%26#39;t forget the Gibbes Museum of Art on Meeting Street! It is especially nice when the weather is not-great place to soak in some culture while it is too hot or raining outside.
