We are going to be in Myrtle Beach from 25 Feb to 25 March. We are staying at Plantation Resort in Surfside Beach. Where can one buy some good fresh seafood during this period (other than Costco!). We were thinking of Murrell%26#39;s Inlet or some other waterfront spot.
Thanks in advance.
Fresh Seafood
Murrells Inlet is the place to go, you will see signs for Fresh Seafood, you won%26#39;t have any problems finding them. Now what they are catching at the time, or not catching as the case maybe, is another story. You will just have to go and see what they have.
Fresh Seafood
Have you been to Plantation Resort before? We are thinking of touring it as part of a sales pitch. Do you own a place there? IS it nice? Are there things for an 8 year old boy? How close is it to the beach?

Murrell%26#39;s Inlet seafood is great and only 5-6 miles from Surfside beach. There%26#39;s plenty at Plantation resort for an 8 year old to enjoy....nice playground, current lazy river, larger indoor and large outdoor pools, game room, etc. During the summer the have free beach shuttle between 10am-4pm but it%26#39;s only 1-1.5 mile drive to the main section of Surfside Beach and free parking. The southern edge of Myrtle is about 3 miles away.
