driving conditions driving to myrtle beach
Like weather at the beach there is no guarantee. Just taking a wild guess I%26#39;d say once you get south of Erie and away from lake effect you should be ok.
Even if by some chance Mother Nature throws us a rare surprise you should have smooth sailing from Wythville, VA down.
driving conditions driving to myrtle beach
We have driven to SC twice in March and never encountered any snow at all, not even here in Michigan. However, my sister and her family drove to Myrtle Beach last March and encountered some light snow in West Virginia, Virginia and western North Carolina on the way down. Like I said, it was light snow, I don%26#39;t even think it accumulated on the ground, and it was no big deal to drive in. If you do happen to encounter any snow, the U.S. interstates are almost always the first to get any attention from plow trucks, etc. and you should be fine, especially being from Toronto and knowing how to drive in snow.
A sidenote, as so often happens in the South in the spring, when my sister and her family left to come home, the same areas that had snow on the way down were experiencing temps in the mid-seventies! : - )
