Where should we stay?

My husband and I are planning a trip to MB for 4 nights, the first full week of June. Our daughter will be 10 months old. We have been to MB 5 or 6 times for summer vacation and stayed at a different hotel each time. I have spent hours researching a place for us to stay and would like some opinions.

We are on a budget, looking for about $550 for 4 nights. Would like to have bedroom and living room, so the baby can nap in quiet. We like to spend a lot of time at the beach, but will be spending a lot of time at the hotel for naps, etc.. Location isn%26#39;t a big issue, we don%26#39;t mind driving. We always take a trip to Cherry Grove and go to Broadway at the Beach almost every day. Would like to stay somewhere clean with nice views, maybe even somewhere newer.

I have been looking at Monterey Bay Suites, the price is right. I think it has just been updated? But it is like #60 on the hotel list. Also, Long Bay Resort looks nice. It seems to be a little outdated with the furnishings, is this right?

Any opinions or suggestions would be appreciated!

I can%26#39;t answer the hotel questions, I usually leave that to MB Conceirge, she is the expert, but I do advise as soon as you decide something, you better call, that is Senior Week and while majority will be in Myrtle Beach, they do seem to be ';everywhere'; and even though hotels SAY they don%26#39;t rent to anyone under 25 in most cases, it is amazing how many ';seniors'; are down here w/o parents.

I would say if you found that price at Monteray Bay Suites...BOOK IT soon! Thats a great rate for there for that time of year....and I think the way the suite is laid out will really fit your needs with the youg one. The balcony and living room is off to the front of the unit, with the bedroom area as you come into the unit.

It has just underwent some major renovations and looks wonderful! Plus you get a breakfast buffet and an evening dessert reception in your room rate...cant beat it, IMO!
